Paid Summer Intern

The Vid Creative is seeking a paid, part-time intern/production assistant for the summer with potential to continue work into the 2021-2022 school year. Candidates must be self-motivated, eager to learn, and willing to perform a wide range of tasks on multiple different projects. 

Duties may include the following:

• Assisting with equipment and interviews on set

• Email correspondence with clients

• Some clerical work

• Website and social media updates

• Scheduling shoots and client meetings

• Logging video

• Organizing gear

• Assisting with equipment on set

• Basic editing and graphics post-production work (Knowledge of Adobe Suite is a bonus but not required.. willingness to learn it is required!)

Candidate must have transportation to/from shoots (transportation will be provided for any shoots located outside the St. Louis-metro area). Compensation is $15/hour for estimated 10 hours of work per week, but heavy shoot weeks may include more hours. Start and end times will likely change day-to-day and week-to-week but we are happy to work together with the right candidate to make sure the hours work for everyone.

The Vid Creative is a video production company founded in 2018 by a former broadcast journalist. Clients include Forest Park Forever, Saint Louis Ballet, Confluence Academies, Mighty Oakes Heart Foundation, and Mardi Gras Inc., among others.
